We are looking for an experienced digital marketer to work on the Mobile App Digital Advertising team focused on paid media strategy, planning, buying and optimisation for the Apps.

You must have performance marketing experience in gaming companies and/or must have handled gaming in Mobile Ad Networks or agencies.

You will have both strategic and executional experience in digital media and have worked extensively on complex performance-focused campaigns across the globe for major apps and games in the iOS ecosystem.

As part of a Global Account Team, this roles involves working closely with local Marketing teams as well as International & Global leads to ensure our digital advertising programs are successfully planned, executed and analysed.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise, adapt to change and multitask within a dynamic environment.

We are seeking an expert at analysing complex data to drive digital performance by managing and/or influencing activation, planning and client teams globally across multiple timezones. 

Key Accountabilities

  • International Director for Digital Performance Marketing for Mobile Apps, reporting to the International Client Partner, Mobile Apps, based in Singapore.

  • This role is part of the International Digital Marketing team that works across one of our top Global accounts. You will be responsible, together with the Client Partner, for the delivery of the International results across Mobile Apps digital campaigns. The team is very data-driven, iterates constantly, and vigorously adapts. 

  • You will partner with your manager and peers to oversee all paid digital media for Mobile Apps internationally. This role is within one of the fastest-growing clients at Dentsu Aegis, designed for someone who is a highly creative, adaptive, and a savvy mobile performance marketer.

  • You will collaborate with Local Digital Leads & Planners as well as our Digital Data & Media hub to develop media mix and tactical strategies, monitoring results across International campaigns and have the ability to communicate digestible insights on a regular basis to share learnings and inform continued development of the program. We expect this individual to constantly analyse results to find opportunities and develop communication strategies based on customer insights. .

  • While the role is international in nature, Asian markets, particularly Greater China, Japan and Korea are key for this Line of Business and therefore, solid knowledge and experience with their digital platforms is a must

Person Specification

  • 7+ years in digital media in gaming companies and/or handled gaming in Mobile Ad Networks or agencies, with 3+ years of experience buying for iOS apps with a focus on market-leading games and apps

  • Experience developing media strategies across display, video, social, and SEM with a focus on performance optimisation for mobile

  • Strong understanding of and experience with programmatic advertising and mobile ad networks

  • Exceptional analytical and hands-on skills leveraging complex data sets required, along with experience in data visualisation tools and business insights dashboards

  • Well-versed in the campaign planning process and experience managing large budgets across geographies

  • Expertise in media tracking, attribution methodologies, and a history of working with MMPs and analytics teams

  • Familiarity with ad-tech and mar-tech

  • Excellent client servicing skills, with demonstrable experience in building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders

  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively and cross-functionally within a global organisation

  • Strong cross-team collaboration and a demonstrated test-and-learn mindset

  • Skilled at translating information between business owners and media teams

  • Clear and effective communication and confidence in presenting your work with the ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organisation

  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, constantly evolving and dynamic environment

  • Extraordinary written, communication and presentation skills

  • Hands-on attitude and high attention to the detail

  • Fluent in English with additional languages an advantage
